Brief Project Description:

This project involves the construction of a new ECS Maintenance Facility/General-Purpose Warehouse at Fort AP Hill, VA. The work includes a Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) designed for the maintenance and repair of military vehicles, featuring high bays with exhaust systems, a maintenance pit for undercarriage servicing, and dedicated office and parts storage areas. A separate warehouse will be constructed to support vehicle maintenance, providing storage for parts and materials along with office space.

The commissioning process includes design review, quality assurance, performance testing, calibration of instruments per manufacturer recommendations, and development of procedures for systems not explicitly covered by standards. STCS will also integrate updated requirements or recommendations issued by the governing bodies prior to contract solicitation, ensuring full compliance with project commissioning requirements and performance guarantees.
