Brief Project Description:
The project consists of the design, renovation, and expansion of the existing Army Reserve Center in Orangeburg, NY. Work includes interior renovations, construction of two or three new additions for a Training Center, and upgrades to utilities, storm drainage, communications, electrical, HVAC, fire protection/alarm systems, paving, parking, access roads, site improvements, grading, landscaping, and new signage.
Renovation scope ranges from light (ceiling and finish replacements, new doors, hardware, and communication/fire alarm upgrades) to full renovation (new partitions, ceilings, finishes, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression extensions, full toilet and kitchen renovation, and food service equipment replacement). Work also includes construction of a cast-in-place arms vault, reconfiguration of the main entry with aluminum/glass storefront system meeting AT/FP standards, and a West Addition integrated with existing spaces using a steel frame and matching exterior finishes.
