Brief Project Description:
The Dormitory 430 (D430) Repair Project at Dover Air Force Base requires a full design-build renovation to meet Air Force standards and codes. Work includes repairing and repainting interior finishes, replacing drywall, ceilings, flooring, and lighting with LED fixtures, and upgrading bathrooms with new tile, fixtures, vanities, and countertops. Structural repairs will address subsiding floors and sewer piping, and new fire extinguisher cabinets and solid surface windowsills will be installed. Exterior work covers EIFS repair, balcony railing painting, sidewalk and masonry repairs, new gutters, downspouts, lighting, bird netting, landscaping, and energy-efficient window replacement. Systems upgrades include a new addressable fire alarm and mass notification system, along with a centralized HVAC system for all dorm rooms. The project has a performance period of 741 days at Building 430, Dover AFB, Delaware.
