Brief Project Description:
The project consists of a complete renovation of the interior and exterior of Building 1D (TEIRF), currently used as a Vehicle Maintenance Division facility. All structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems will be upgraded or modified per drawings and specifications. Exterior work includes modifying the north wall to add new windows for natural lighting, repairing and recoating the EIFS finish, and removing the existing green roof and roof system. A new roof assembly will be installed, with an optional new green roof and skylights if selected.
The contractor must manage hazardous materials as identified in the drawings, submit Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all proposed products, and ensure compliance with Clean Air Act emission regulations and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP). Work will be awarded under a single contract and executed in three phases. Existing features not scheduled for replacement must be protected during construction, and any damaged elements must be repaired or replaced to match existing or adjoining work to a condition equal or better than before construction.
