Brief Project Description:
The project consists of repair and related work at the Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA, as detailed in the drawings and Scope of Work Appendix. Work will be performed in occupied facilities, requiring coordination with the Government Designated Representative (GDR) to establish sequencing, access routes, material storage, and use of approaches, corridors, and stairways.
The contractor shall remove, alter, repair, or replace existing work as needed to support construction, ensuring remaining features are protected and restored to equal or better conditions upon completion. Prior to excavation, the contractor must obtain digging permits, coordinate with local utility locating services, and perform subsurface utility investigations using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), electromagnetic, or sonic methods. All underground utilities and obstructions must be identified, marked, and elevations verified before installation of new piping, ducts, or other systems.
