F-35 JSF Beddown-Building Renovations, Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, VT


Brief Project Description:

The project involves work in 5 different buildings and the project size is approximately 250,000 SF : Building 130 (8 position aircraft shelter); Building 131 (1 bay aircraft shelter); Building 132 (1 bay aircraft shelter); Building 160 (corrosion control propulsion maintenance center) and Building 360 (weapons system maintenance building).

Building 130: Building 130 is an existing eight position aircraft shelter that currently supports the F-16 beddown at the Vermont Air National Guard Base. This shelter is to be modified to support the F-35 JSF beddown.

Building 131: Building 131 is an existing 1 Bay 1 Position Air Craft shelter that currently supports the F-16 beddown at the Vermont Air National Guard Base. This shelter will be modified to support the F-35 JSF beddown.

Building 132: Building 132 is an existing 1 Bay 1 Position Air Craft shelter that currently supports the F-16 beddown at the Vermont Air National Guard Base. This shelter will be modified as required to support the F-35 JSF beddown.

Building 160: Buildings 160 is a Corrosion Control, Propulsion Maintenance, Inspection, and Maintenance Building/Training Facility that currently supports the F-16 beddown at the Vermont Air National Guard Base. This building will be modified to support the F-35 JSF beddown.

Building 360: Building 360 is a weapons system maintenance building. It is currently an F-16 beddown at the Vermont Air National Guard Base. This building will be modified as required to support the F-35 JSF beddown.
