Construction of Picnic Area, Concession Stand and Rooftop Bar at Orioles Stadium, Baltimore, MD


Brief Project Description:

To commemorate Orioles’ 20th year at Camden yards, the Orioles organization decided to construct a new picnic area and a new concession stand overlooking the ballpark, which would remain open on non-game days and create a park like destination for visitors and guests.

The centerfield concession building was expanded to create a new first floor concession stand with a second floor bar area that overlooks the baseball field.

The work involves Structural Steel work, New Roof and Deck, Wooden Deck and Canopy, HVAC, Plumbing, New Precast Stairs, Site Lighting, New Planters with Brick cladding.

This was a fast track project with a project duration of 3 months from start to finish and the area had to be ready for use before opening day.

Benaka self-performed all site work involved in preparing the picnic area, Demolition of existing structure, Installing gravel path, Framing, Installing doors and hardware, Application of high performance coating, Utilities and Tenant fit outs.
