Repair MOF Building 1 A project at the Tobyhanna Army Depot


Brief Project Description:

Repair MOF Building 1 A project at the Tobyhanna Army Depot is a five-phase project which includes a complete infrastructural overhaul of the Building’s Water, Electrical, Heating and Sewer systems including various Architectural upgrades.

The Work consists of repairs and renovations of interior portions of Building 1A. The work involves site/civil, abatement, architectural, interiors, electrical, mechanical (HVAC & plumbing), structural, food service, and fire protection trades.

The required exterior work for Building 1A is the repair of the north and south building elevations to including the installation of windows and storefronts to meet new force protection requirements. A rapid rollup door will be installed on the south ramp. The new main doors will receive new canopies. A portion of the existing dock in Building 1B will be infilled to increase storage capacity for the proposed cafeteria.

A cafeteria will be added to Buildings 1A/1B with a seating area, serving area and kitchen. The food service equipment will also be furnished and installed as part of this contract.
