Brief Project Description:
The work consisted of repairing the HVAC systems servicing the West wing, Second and Third decks of Sims Hall.
The work included HVAC and ATC retrofit, Hazmat abatement - Asbestos and Lead Paint remediation in various rooms and auditorium. One AHU in MER was replaced. FCUs and piping was replaced at the auditorium and storage rooms. Work also included new fin tube radiation and piping, new pumps, new insulation in the MER. A new ATC backbone was installed and connected to the Navy’s base system. Floors and walls that were penetrated were returned to originality.
